How to Consign With Us – A Quick Video Guide

What We Accept
- Clothing – Must be freshly washed, in style (within the last 2 years), and neatly folded.
- Shoes – Must be wiped clean or washed, free of sand/mud.
- Toys & Baby Gear – Must have all parts, be clean, fabric pieces freshly washed, and include working batteries (or a $1 fee per battery applies).
- Accessories & Home Decor – Stylish, high-quality pieces in great condition.
WE DO NOT accept: Used sippy cups, baby bathtubs, diaper pails, potty seats.

How to Drop Off Your Items
📌 No appointment needed! You can bring your items anytime during store hours.
🔹 Preparation Guidelines:
✔ Items must be in something hard; plastic storage tote, box or laundry basket. Please no jumbo totes that are excessively heavy to lift. No trash bags will be accepted.
✔ Clothing should be laid flat or folded, with all buttons, zippers, and snaps fastened.
✔ Items must be clean, lint-free, and free of pet hair.
📍 What Happens Next?
We conduct a pre-sort while you're in the store.
After you leave, we complete a detailed inspection, price your items, and put them on the sales floor.
If any items are not accepted, you will receive a text message to pick them up within 3 business days—otherwise, they become the property of Sweet Pea Consignment.

✔️ Unaccepted items will be donated unless the seller arranges pickup.

Earnings & Payouts
Sweet Pea Consignment accepts, prices, and sells your items. Consignors receive a
percentage of the final sale price which immediately credits their account.

How Much Do You Earn?
- 30% for all consigned clothing items.
- 40% for all other items.
- 50% for items selling for $75 or more.
- BONUS: Earn 10% more when using your credit in-store!

Account Management
Consignors will receive a welcome email after their account is set-up with the website and log-in information for online access to their account (to view items, item status, expiration dates and account balance). Consignors will be prompted to change their password in order to activate their account.
Consignors are responsible for updating account contact information.

How Long Do Items Stay for Sale?

90 Days on the Sales Floor
- Items stay in-store for 90 days.
- After expiration, you have 10 days to retrieve unsold items, (expiration dates are visible on the consignor account.
- It is the responsibility of the consignor to keep track of their expiration dates and coming into the store to pull their expired items.
- Items not retrieved by the 100th day will become the property of Sweet Pea Consignment.
📌 Early Pickup Policy:
- If you remove an item before 80 days, a 20% processing fee applies.
💰 Discounts & Sales:
- Your items may be included in store sales.
- Off-season inventory may be stored for future sales.
Additional Policies

Sweet Pea Consignment charges a one-time set-up fee of $5 for brand new consignors. This amount will be deducted from your consignor account and will be off-set by the sales of your items.

Consignors can opt out of promotional text messages but cannot opt out of text
messages regarding their consignment drop off or their account
